Firelight Ranch is a small farm located in Marsing, ID. We breed miniature dairy goats called Nigerian Dwarfs (NDs). We breed animals registered with the ADGA. Check our sales page for what is available.
NDs are perfectly miniaturized versions of their larger brethren, complete with their refinement, dairy character, and superior milk qualities. ND's milk contains a high percentage butter fat, and they milk out a large quantity for their size. NDs come in all colors of the rainbow, and are friendly and loving members of the family. They make beautiful pets with more refinement and variety than other miniature breeds, with the added bonus of fresh, sweet milk.
Firelight Ranch will be offering kids for sale to the public as they are available. Please check our breeding schedule to see when kids are due. Check back often when a doe is due, and you can reserve the new arrivals that are available. You may also jump on a waiting list for expectant does that you are interested in. Simply inquire about reservations through our contact page. If you do not currently own any goats, it is recommended that you purchase at least two, as goats are very social creatures and do best with companionship of their own kind. Ask us about payment plans and package discounts!

OUR HERD LAST TESTED FOR CAE/CL HOLIDAY SEASON 2012 - ALL NEGATIVE!
AUGUST 28, 2014 - Blackberry and Quinn came home this week! They are quick friends and Blackberry is a lovable doll who is easy to milk. Hoping to be able to start on a test batch of soap in a few weeks. Check out the doe page for "pasture pictures."
JULY 29, 2014 - Fencing almost finished and ready for my two does to move in! Picked up my yearling buck, Goblin King and he is hanging out in Oregon until I need him in the fall! He is turning into a handsome devil and I have new (albeit not very cooperative) photos on my buck page.I also picked up my older buck, Diji Farm CG Densil Washington so that Goblin King has a buddy. I only have two does right now, but might purchase a third to breed to him this fall. At that point he'll be for sale as I don't need a bunch of dudes!
JUNE 17, 2014 - For all of those interested in my herd dispersal, there are no more animals left for sale. I moved to Idaho and went through some large life changes, selling off all of my goats. I've recently sent a payment to purchase a doe with the most level topline I've ever seen and will be taking back one of Klover's doe kids from this spring and my buck Goblin King from temporary homes in about a month. I will be re-starting my herd with only the two does and one buck. I may have kids available next spring but likely only whethers depending on if I purchase any more kids. Our new location is Marsing, ID about an hour from Boise. Thank you for your friendship and support!
